Our client, a leading engineering company is looking for a dynamic individual to take up a position as a Warranty Controller and become a part of their team!

The main purpose of this position is claim submissions.

Minimum role requirements (qualifications, experience and skills)

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Qualified Diesel Earth Moving Mechanic.
• 5 to 7 years post qualification experience
• Competent and familiar with OEM online computer systems
• Experience with MS Excel, intermediate would be advantageous
• Ability to read and interpret document administrative policies, department guidelines and operational procedures

Duties and Responsibilities
• Issue warranty authorisation numbers to branches after ensuring that the machine is under warranty, and that it is a valid warranty claim acceptable to principals
• Investigate claims against information on machine history files, i.e. delivery dates, serial numbers etc.
• Assist the departments and branches with warranty queries
• Where required, request failed parts from branches and submit with relevant documentation to overseas principals
• Submission of policy claims to OEM
