An exciting opportunity has come up for a digital design Intern! A thriving stakeholder engagement company in Stellenbosch is looking to appoint an intern for a 12 month long Web Design program, where the candidate will also gain experience assisting project managers, readers and designers, the traffic manager and CRM/sales people.

We are looking for someone to be able to add pages with content structured correctly including tables, accordions carousels and tabs, create menu items, be able to style content, upload pdf’s and images, troubleshoot minor issues cross-browser.

Good understanding of:

HTML
Bootstrap 3 or 4,
Flex, CSS or SCSS, FTP
InDesign, Photoshop and Dreamweaver,
WordPress and code editors such as Atom/Coda
Requirements

Must be an Employment Equity (EE) candidate.
Must be 18 to 29 years of age (to fit the youth category).
Hold a valid South African citizen ID documentation.
Must not have any criminal record.
Must be a recently qualified student or someone who has been unemployed for at least three months.
Must be willing to work long hours and be meticulous in terms of detail.
be committed and display a willingness to learn and grow.
reside within commutable distance from Stellenbosch and have reliable means of transport
be willing to study a prescribed course as stipulated by the necessary authorities (NFQ).
be fluent in English. Afrikaans would be a bonus
have a good working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite especially Indesign and Photoshop
have a great design portfolio.
be personable and presentable, with good communication skills.
