Manage the implementation and review of the digital communication guidelines; Identify and develop content for dissemination to staff through the digital platforms; Provide editorial and creative direction for the digital platforms; Manage the layout, design and content of all digital communication platforms; Support social media communications to deliver a strong member and stakeholder value proposition; Ensure that the Scheme’s website and social media platforms are regularly updated with information on new media platforms; Develop content, design and package material for distribution on new media channels; Distribute the corporate messages through new media channels; Anticipates future workload and plans for when resources may be needed; Provides business cases in support of resource requirements; Write, edit and produce communications for internal and external audiences including but not limited to presentations, scripts, briefing documents, intranet and internet articles, and employee communications, message and emails; Review and edit communications drafted by corporate communications and make recommendations to ensure messaging is consistent with internal and external strategy and tone.

A 3 year degree/advance diploma in IT (Multimedia or Web development), Digital Media, or equivalent NQF 7 qualification; At least 3-5 years’ in social and digital media, website maintenance, graphic design or multimedia environment and public relations experience; Qualification and/or experience in managing new media channels and internal/corporate communications will serve as an advantage; Have the proven ability to create content and craft key messages related to customer relations matters
