Website Designer (JB2202)
Remote, for applicants living in South Africa
R20 – 25 000 per month
Duration: Independent Contractor (Long Term)

As the Website Designer, you will work with one of the leading marketing agencies in the UK who are focused on providing website delivery services within their medical niche. As the designer you will be responsible for designing the home page and internal pages of client websites, using a tried and tested formula. This opportunity provides you with chance to work with an established team who will provide you with training to achieve the results their clients are looking for.

Note: This role is currently an Independent Contractor role, which means you will be required to submit an invoice to the client monthly on an agreed monthly rate. The company is in the process of establishing and entity in South Africa, once done there is a high possibility of this role being adjusted to permanent employment.

Minimum Requirements:
Setup to work comfortably from home with a stable internet connection and Apple Mac
Adobe Photoshop
Understand the concepts of coding, and how websites work
Be adaptable and willing to learn new techniques
Have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Be able to work independently and self-manage your time
Be able to work to tight deadlines
Be thorough and precise in your work
Be able to multi-task
Be a self-starter and use your initiative
Be ready to learn about our niche and invest time in learning
You understand coding very well (you don’t need to code)
You understand WordPress (you don’t need to be an expert)
You have experience in working with developers
Being able to design for print. Not required, but graphic design experience does help.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Design the highest converting homepage designs
Design internal pages for websites
Test websites once your designs are coded by the coding team
Work closely with clients to guide them through the design process
