“WISP" Wireless Internet Service Provider - Network Administrator

Our client is a local accredited MultiChoice Agency, Accredited DStv over Fiber System Integrator and a fast-growing Internet Service Provider and network cabling company.

Preferably resident in the Southern Cape

We are based in Mossel Bay, Garden Route and candidate needs to have:

• MTCNA or Equivalent (Cisco, UBNT etc.) qualifications
• Skilled in Lynx systems
• Good knowledge of IP addressing, routing, DHCP, DNS and basic server knowledge.
• Ideally some wireless knowledge, especially setup of Wi-Fi access Points
• Some knowledge of authentication and Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service, a client/server protocol RADIUS MANAGER system
• Some knowledge of The Ubiquiti Network Management System (UNMS) - Configure, upgrade, and monitor several different Ubiquiti devices
• Extensive technical skills with experience in the installation of Wi-Fi RF Radios (dishes) and Routers
• First Line Fault Finding to provide Customer Support
• Any Knowledge and experience in Security Systems (CCTV, Access Control etc.) installation and maintenance will be to the advantage of a
potential candidate.
• Excellent trouble shooting skills
• 5 - 7 Years’ experience and knowledge as a Wi-Fi Support Technician
• Confident individual with good skills in communicating with clients
• Own transport to Work and Home
Valid driver license essential
