My client, a leader in providing Industrial Vacuum, Pumps, Laboratory Equipment, Blowers and Compressors - is looking to expand their service offering by hiring a Workshop Manager.

As the Workshop Manager you will report to the Managing Director and be responsible for quality maintenance and repairs of all products sold and create a viable stream of income for the organisation.

You will lead a culturally diverse team of skilled and semi-skilled artisans in their daily duties and will develop and train staff according to company growth.

You will work in an established workshop with a solid framework and job card system in place, but will be allowed to implement strategies for improvement and success.

You are the ideal candidate is you:
- Have a valid drivers licence
- Are able to work in Midrand
- Are Technically inclined
- Are Solutions Oriented
- Are a Qualified Mechanical Engineer or Trade Tested Fitter & Turner
- Have 2 or more years experience managing a workshop environment in the automotive or specialized machinery sector AND you have 2 years experience managing people
- You have a solid knowledge of Health and Safety practices in a workshop environment
