Roles and Responsibilities:
• Process optimisation and cycle time improvements.
• Maintain high quality and precision of moulded components.
• Maintain compliance with environmental rules and regulations in developing plastics products.
• Meeting monthly production targets.
• Commissioning new moulds and leading new tool trails
• Initiating 5s standards in the plant.
• Reducing scrap rate to three percent.
• Driving and achieving OEE of 75.
• Ensuring preventative maintenance is carried out.
• Production planning and control.
• Scheduling training in terms of on the job training evaluation methods.
• Manpower allocation and shift arrangements with the approval of the superior in order to achieve maximum efficiency.
• To follow the production schedule and issue appropriate job data sheet to the machines in order for the operators to work accordingly.
• Solve operational difficulties; render technical advice to the machine operators and technicians, due process setting if needed and personally direct productions operations.
• Stage inspection of the product to ensure compliance to specification and to take measures for rectification as needed.
• Ensuring that all process procedures and activities meet and match those as laid down under company also and management procedures.
• Working closely with other engineering teams and optimizing plant’s operation

Qualification and requirements:
• Moulding Equipment -
o Haitian, ( 380 T, 800 T, 1000 T,1600 T, 2300 T)
o ENGEL, ( 2700 T, )
o Krauss Maffei (3200 T, 1300 T, 2700 T)
o Mold Tonnage range from (380 T – 4000 T machine)
• Relevant Technical qualification and experience in plastic moulding.
• Experience of plastic manufacturing environment.
• Excellent knowledge of plastics raw materials.
• Complete understanding of plastics processing and principles.
• Ability to undertake and track projects.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and utilise time efficiently.
• Knowledge of QMS, OHS and EMS
