We are looking for journalists / writers, from Interns up to Senior Writers. We are paying from R3 000 for an intern, to R10 000 for an experienced senior writer.

Our offices are in Bellville South, at Mega Park. Working hours are from 8 to 5.

The duties will depend on the level to which we appoint the applicant. But in short, the requirement is to write quality articles for our different websites. These articles will range from general articles about the education industry, to specific pages about specific courses we offer.

We want to start an education news site. And produce valuable, newsworthy content - timeously.

From senior people we expect they know how to properly do the SEO on a web page, using Yoast inside WordPress. For more junior people, we will train them.

Can you please do the following, to give me an idea of your work.

Write an article of 900 words or more on one of the following topics:

how distance learning is changing education in South Africa
the difference between a degree and a national diploma
the impact of your level of education on your income
how to get your matric if you failed
the career opportunities for someone that has a national diploma in marketing

Your writing must adhere to the following criteria:

100% correct spelling and grammar
evidence that you researched the topic
language level aimed at a reader that has grade 9
tell me something I did not know
interesting and engaging
