I am Bukiwe Mafele, a female internal auditing graduate residing in Port Alfred. I had also enrolled for a six months program, outside of my normal curriculum, at Guarantee Trust. I underwent a Work-Readiness Program for the Accounting Profession (a program giving real work experience in a simulated environment). I have gained an understanding of Professional Ethics, Basic Bookkeeping, Communication Skills, Office Orientation and Virtual office Workplace Simulation, am eager to learn and strive for excellence as will be further elaborated in the attached documentation. I worked as a Trainee Accountant (Budget and Treasury Office) at Ndlambe Local Municipality, Where I was part of the team who was compiling Municipal budget and adjustment budget and submit to Provincial and National Treasury after approved by the council. Prepare the reports monthly, quarterly and yearly to submit to Provincial and National treasury Furthermore I worked as a project Administrator Officer at Khuselindalo Environmental Development. The Company appointed by Department of Environmental Affairs as an Implemented Agent to implement the Alexandria Material Recovery Facilities, I was responsible for administration office work such as payroll, procurement process , monthly reports and monthly registers of employees also attending meetings between the Implementer and the department to write down the minutes and do whatever is requested by my director. Currently I’m a Creditors Clerk at Settlers Park Association .I am capturing Suppliers, maintain supplier profiles on pastel, Reconcile suppliers statements to general ledger & suppliers age analysis, Keep suppliers contract files, Pay suppliers online banking. Assist accounts manager with financial management report. Maintain Asset register and also relief at reception and accounts assistant when on leave.
