I am a seasoned Internal Auditor and Forensic Auditor with experience spanning no less than 17 years. I have served as Chief Audit Executive at one of the Developmental Finance Institutions for 6 years, with extensive Managerial experience, including exposure to the Parliamentary Portfolio Committees. My core specialties are Internal Audit, Risk Management, Governance and Fraud Risk Management. My formal qualifications are as follows: -B.Com (Fin.Acc) -B.Com (Hons) (Internal Audit) - Certificate in Fraud Examination (NQF6) - Law for Commercial Forensic Practitioners (NQF6) - Programme for Project Management (NQF6) - Certificate in Sales and Marketing Management - Parts 1,2 & 4 of CIA (IIASA) I started my career at KPMG, and, I have worked in Internal Audit Functions of financial Institutions such as ABSA, Industrial Development Corporation (IDC)(Senior Internal Audit Manager), Small Enterprise Finance Agency (SEFA) (Head – Internal Audit). Some of my professional recognition have been to serve as the Chair of the Pretoria Region for the Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa (IIASA) between the years 2018 and 2020. I have also executed and delivered an urgent Forensic Audit Report of exceptional quality for the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee for the Department of Small Business Development. I have extensive experience in Legal Matters, Contract Management, Regulatory Compliance and respective Civil and Criminal procedures. I am a self-driven Leader and a Team Player. Most importantly, I am extremely passionate about Internal Audit and apply innovative approaches to Audit Engagements. I have since, resigned from my employment in 2019 and currently practicing as an Independent Business Consultant.
