I am currently a final year undergraduate student pursuing my bachelor’s in Computing, specializing in Software Engineering. My undergraduate project experience ranges from Management System Software, Gaming applications to Web development. On a part-time bases, I assist a foreign exchange company with sales, introducing treasury products, and providing entry level advice on risk management, trade finance, foreign exchange, and money markets. After I graduate, I aim to work within the IT and Financial Sectors, mainly focusing on front-end development and international banking. In my professional capacity, I currently work in understudy role with Global Trade and Foreign Exchange Specialists company in South Africa. I am highly passionate about business, financial services, and digital solutions. Even though I am a student in software development, I do have an ACI Dealing Certificate and 3 years forex and trade experience. Combined, my knowledge gives me a superb head-start in understanding the fundamentals of financial programming and the requirements of the industry. I have a fresh, young, and diverse outlook on finance and digital solutions. My experience in Foreign Exchange and Global Trade makes me an ideal candidate for a Financial Services Group entering the digital age and/or Development Companies looking for a ‘Finance-Coding’ hybrid.
