In big organizations, innovation is key and the heart of any organizations I believe that thinking out the box and disrupting the market with innovative and creative ideas that are crucial to gain a competitive edge on the industry, I personally was very excited to discover that Standard Bank has an innovation team where new ideas can be explored, I have been taking part in the Woema hackathon for the last 5 years also winning a hackathon since then I have actively taken on a volunteer role to be on the opposite end of the hackathon and planning and executing it . I have taken on facilitating the Design thinking training and with much success had a huge impact on the teams and has provided me with an open mind allowing for creative thinking and a more collaborative approach alongside with STEAM initiatives I truly believe that we are making great progress in developing the community and growing myself into a better individual. I’m curious and intrigued by new tech and how it can revolutionise banking and the world. I Have also been for executive coaching to fine tune my skills and to communicate on various levels of the organization.
