To who it may concern. By way of introduction, my name is Donavan Wallis and I have been in the digital landscape for 9 years as a digital designer as well as filling various other roles associated within digital marketing and website optimisation. My previous role all as the lead digital designer for Safari.com is to build and implement the companies brand identity, oversee all artwork and ensure that it is up to standard and follows the companies brand guidelines, manage junior designers, design, build and manage email campaigns, assist copywriters in writing focused copy, create animated videos, anything HTML or CSS, improve website conversions and usability based on data collected through various channels and all the other responsibilities associated with digital design and a senior role. Other KPI that I have excelled at are: 1.Optimise email campaigns to increase click-through rates which I have almost doubled the past 6 months. 2.Conversion rate optimisation based on a statistical analysis of the companies website in which I have also doubled in the past 4 months before the lockdown. Along with all the necessary skills associated with a digital designer I am also proficient in website development with a strong skill for HTML and CSS with a growing understanding of javascript. I am proficient in Google Analytics with a Google Analytics Advanced User Qualification as well as Google Analytics Power User qualification which allows me to monitor and Improve on campaigns and the Safari.com as well as improve usability and the conversion rate of the companies website All of this along with a strong understanding of digital marketing and user behaviour gives me the ability to create designs with a better insight into how it will affect the targeted customer than most digital designers out there which in turn leads to better performance of the designs which ultimately leads to better marketing performance, website performance and company growth. I am a fast learner and can adapt to the needs of the company I work for or what the company needs are at the time. I love learning, pick up on new techniques and trends.
