Company SMEC receipt maintenance contract at Ford Engine Plant on CNC machines and equipment. My main responsibilities were to keep the production machines running efficiently, improve and minimise down time. I performed fault finding, problem solving and repairs on the mechanical, electrical, electronics and machine controls. I have excellent job planning and fault finding skills. I gained vast experience on PLC installation, programing setup and repairs on power supplies and drives. Due to the Covid pandemic, Ford scaled down the operations which resulted in SMEC to lose some contracts. SMEC scaled down and I was laid off until business situation improves.
