My name is Jean, I am from a small town just 60km outside of Cape Town, called Gordons Bay. I have just over 14 years of experience in managing businesses, growing businesses, owning 2 of my own very successful companies as well as a NPO. I like to believe that I am a skilled marketer, as I seem to see marketing through the eyes of the consumer most of the time, which assists me in being effective. I have helped a number of companies get started by advising new entrepreneurs, and have build a good number of websites for these companies who are today very successful. I believe that the combination of the above makes me especially knowledgeable as I do not look at a situation from just one point of view, but rather see the whole picture and understand what outcomes are needed - and their importance. I am completely self taught, I never had the opportunity to study after school and had to work the day I finished with grade 12. Lastly, I am tying my hand in freelancing as I had lost both my companies during the Covid-19 lockdown period, and instead of starting fresh I am seeking a more relaxed lifestyle.
