I am currently fulfilling the role of HR Manager: Operations at one of largest retailers in South Africa. With 7 years of Operations HR experience ( 3 Years in HR Management), my various roles comprised predominantly in the Generalist function by supporting Operations teams achieve Operational Strategies. In my years as a Generalist I have successfully implemented HR strategies to the biggest retails in South Africa in Foods retail, Clothing retail and Online retail (Shoprite group, TFG Group and Takealot online and Mr D Food). In my current role as HR Manager: Operations I support two of the biggest Brands in TFG (Sportscene and Totalsports) by working closely with field leaders to achieve Operational success. The role includes and is not limited to Coaching and Mentoring, Employment Equity implementation, custodian of group policy and procedures and the execution of it, Remuneration and Reward custodian and implementation, Recruitment and selection, Employee relations, learning and Development and other Generalist function. My success comes from the successful Business Partnering with COE’s and Business to achieve Operational success. On the side I am also an Entrepreneur currently busy with two startup businesses in the Design industry as well as the Carpentry industry.
