I am a B.Eng Civil Engineer and MBA (Project Management and Finance) graduate from Stellenbosch. I held various positions at SA Transport Services, Robertson & Hitchins Consulting Engineers, the Development Bank of Southern Africa, the SA Housing Trust and then established the consultancy Areaganeng Civil Engineers and Project Managers in 1990. I am outcome driven and have a natural analytical instinct towards early identification of potential negative impacts. Through a “natural” problem solving, consultative and demonstrative approach, I endeavour to ensure the achievement of planned milestones and objectives. I am an organized and structured individual whom applies the same principles in all activities related to the good governance of projects, i.e. project planning (task analysis, scheduling and budgeting), setting up of monitoring and control systems in a “reverse engineering” mode, again focusing on outcomes, etc.
