minimum requirements:

3-5 years’ experience in in Excel, VBA, Statistical modelling etc.

BSc Actuarial/Mathematics/Statistics and CFA, CFP or studying towards actuarial would be preferred

Working knowledge of core functions of the business

Continuous enhancing and keeping abreast of Industry on Best Practice matters and Competitive environment (research)

Close working relationships with key internal and external clients

Make appropriate and timely decisions

Solve complex business problems

Analyse information and select best solution from a range of alternative solutions

Develop and maintain desired organisational culture

Accountable for co-development of best practice and research materials

Get sign-off from Head: Best Practice on projects aligned to strategic goals and objectives


Key performance areas:


Assistance with development Best Practice

Alignment of key internal businesses

Develop and maintain best practice modelling

Maintenance of External Stakeholder relationships

Assist in developing of technical material and tools to enable the distribution

Collaboration and feedback with product houses to develop needs based solutions for clients

Assist research to develop an understanding of life insurance, short term insurance and investment products offered internally and in the market

Support to distribution channels

Assistance with the developing of house view notes, supporting material and reporting within tools linked to continued thought leadership, product development (informing) and compliance.

Development models to support and test best practice

Work closely with the Retail business units and Institutional Research and Product Development teams

Drive receiving input on an ongoing basis from other areas of the Retail business

Regular consultations with Sales and Service Distribution and product houses on best practice advice tools required
