Seeking a strong Neonatal ICU Registered Nurses to join the Neonatal ICU team in a private facility in the Cape Town Northern Suburbs. Must be ventilator & oscillator competent.

Key Responsibilities:
• Audit of health records to ensure compliance
• Ensure all stock is well controlled and managed, charged and credited appropriately in the NICU ward.
• Keep abreast of current research in the discipline
• Practice patient care according to the Scope of Practice and assume total responsibility for these activities
• Contribute to the holistic care to all NICU babies
• Attend handover of report at shift commencement
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care
• Practice the principles of infection prevention and all Standard precautions
• Promote and maintain good public relations with patients, relatives and visitors

Requirements:
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse/ Midwife or equivalent NQF 7 qualification
• Must have 2-3 years’ experience as an NICU nurse
• Must be ventilator & oscillator competent
