Blue chip market leader is in the process of recruiting a Junior CA to join their team.

Job Description :
Financial: Management account preparations
Management Account consolidations (as a backup)
Preparation of annual budgets; Integral part of the audit process – assist auditors and finance team with
the audit
Drafting of Financials (as a backup)
Project Management; various accounting projects

Prepares the monthly accounts including the following: Ensures that all invoicing has
been done
Ensure that costs are accounted for and if not do the necessary accruals
Posting of all
standard journals
Analysis of gross margin to ensure accuracy
Analysis of expenses to ensure accuracy
and completeness
Following up and resolving queries on the accounts; Working with the Business Unit
manager in ensuring accurate figures
Attend monthly Business Unit meetings; Assist with forecasting of
the business units
Operational: Help with tender submissions – pricing/economic modeling; Assist BU Head with strategy;
Contract review; Contractual issues/partner discussions

Qualifications: CA (SA) - Essential
Experience: Completed articles; newly qualified CA, 1-2 yrs
