Purpose of the position:

Responsible for coordinating all the marketing events and activities in the Product Category as well as assisting the Product Manager with all internal operations.

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Assisting team members with day to day tasks and coordinating projects and activities as requested
• Organising/ordering branded items such as banners, gazebos and any other collateral items etc.
• Manage supplier database.
• Supervise and coordinate with event contractors.
• Vendor engagements – events and MDF co-planning- identify the objectives of the event and determine the requirements that must be met to accomplish those objectives.
• Partner (Reseller) interactions on occasion
• Manage collateral projects: content collection, production and printing
• Developing, organising, planning and promoting a range of events
• Preparing and managing budgets for the event
• Demonstrate knowledge of financial planning, execution and reconciliation
• Post event tasks, managing evaluation form analysis, thank you emails
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers
• Assisting with direct marketing initiatives and promotional activities such as floor days
• Ensure events calendar on the Intranet is up to date with all events taking place
• Manage sponsorship of customer and vendor events, such as Golf days and exhibitions
• Manage product team branding
• Survey Monkey: Setting up surveys and RSVP links.
• Develop and build relations with all vendors within the category.
• Assist the Product Manager in all internal operations
• Assist with rebates and quotes from sales and advise on the best specification and price
• Ensure that customer related queries are effectively dealt with.

• Liaise with Marketing Services, Sales, Customer Service and other departments within the company to assist in administration and management of product.
• Assist the team with other related functions when and where required.
• Develop, understand and engage in process, procedures and back office management
• Submit Weekly/Monthly/quarterly reports as required by management, vendors and analysts.

Education & Experience

Matric/Grade 12
Marketing qualification
Microsoft Office knowledge
Experience within the IT sector preferable ( Non Negotiable)
Own car and drivers licence (Non Negotiable)
3-5 years exp

Technical Competencies

MS Office Suite (Intermediate essential, especially
Excel)
Knowledge of CRM and ERP system (preferred)
