Recruitment Manager – Perm Generalist (Parktown)
Key objective of function is to ensure profitability of cost centre / Business Unit – Perm
Generalist
Responsible for ensuring effective, profitable management of a branch that would include
Recruitment, Financials, Business Development, Customer Service Management, People
Management and Tenders.
Bottom line accountability - Cost containment – ensure accuracy in terms of monthly
unit running cost
Taking advantage of every opportunity to maximise on profits
Collaboration between business units and cross selling of services
Responsible for ensure Perm Generalist Division has enough specs in process to
generate adequate profits in line with set budgets / targets
Continuously recruiting of capable and experienced Recruiters relevant to Generalist
recruitment team (IT, Sales, Finance, Marketing, office support and Procurement
etc.)
Responsible for ensuring monthly, quarterly and annual branch target achievement
Managing of all employees in branch (includes Consulting, Reception, Admin, Typing
and cleaning)
Database management – ensure we are always building on our product (CV’s) to
ensure we are able to provide cleints with above average calibre and quality of
candidates in line with their requirements
Management of consulting function performance with the assistance of HR
Development Officer and QA Manager
Ensuring overall compliance with all relevant legislation and Acts.
Ensuring all employees comply with company policy
Ensuring Consultants achieve targets as allocated and if not implement remedial
action (monetary as well as daily activity)
Ensure turnaround time on each spec is in line with Fempower’s policy – 24 hours for
temp and 48 hours for perm
Facilitate weekly discussions with relevant Account Managers / Sales to discuss
progress made, challenges and feedback from Clients and Consulting – This should
also be used as an information session sharing client information like culture,
process etc.
Ensuring weekly reporting on actual vs forecasted figures for the branch (Pipeline)
and per consultant
Continuous training of employees (interview, portal, client relations, pricing,
Fempower services etc.) to ensure an empowered team
Building of branch client base – Business Development in line with capabilities and
strengths within team. Client visits, presentation etc.
Ensuring retention of current client base and development of new
Contract Management – SLA / Terms and Conditions for all Perm Generalist owned
clients
Implementation of call cycles to ensure exceptional customer service
Implement of first day call for all new starts (Temp and Perm)
Attending to all customer / candidate queries and ensuring resolution
Update Sales admin monthly on client information (changes / new clients etc.) This is
used by Group CRM
Preparing of RFQ’s, Temp employment services, Tender documentation, Profiles /
presentations, Blue Collar proposals to secure new business for branch
Project Management when needed – bulk recruitment etc.
Ensuring training of new employees are done by QA Administrator on first day of
employee starting
Ensuring timeous submission of all relevant documentation to Head Office
(timesheets, order confirmations, terms etc.)
Ensuring staff comply to company policies and procedures
Facilitating all employee relations issues i.e. disciplinary, annual performance
meetings, performance management and document same
Assisting Sales when needed with pricing / client meetings, presentation etc.
Negotiating with Service providers when needed (Renewals – CJ, PNET)
Must have:
Strong financial acumen – bottom line driven
Strategic development and implementation
Must have a successful track record of Perm billing performance
Negotiating skills
Leadership ability
Commercial / contract knowledge
