Our client who has over 150 yearâ??s experience in dairy farming and are a major producer of dairy products throughout South Africa. They have a passion for excellence and are looking for a Refrigeration Artisan to join their team.

Job Specification;

Refrigeration Mechanics, repair, install and troubleshoot refrigeration systems

Industrial climate-control systems, such as HVAC units, ice machines, beverage equipment and refrigerated storage units Perform preventative maintenance in order to avoid future problems or breakdowns

Able to work on mechanical and electrical components of these systems

Need to be knowledgeable about all components of these systems

Read blueprints and schematics

Understand compliance standards

Know local building codes and apply welding and soldering techniques as required

Diagnose problems and make repairs to existing equipment

Troubleshooting methods

Replace parts and run tests to ensure the systems is working properly following repairs

Upgrade systems to satisfy new regulations or meet new standards

Minimum Requirements;

• Matric
• Drivers licence – non-negotiable
• Relevant National Training Certificate/National Diploma
• strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Dairy experience
• Able to work shifts
• Good math, communication and basic computer skills
• Understanding the operations of commercial and residential refrigeration systems
• Reading blueprints and electrical and electronic schematics
• Grasping electrical and plumbing concepts
• Work both independently and in teams as needed
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
