SITE & SERVICES MANAGER (WAREHOUSE FACILITY)

A vacancy exists for a Site & Services Manager within a large Warehouse facility based in Kempton Park. The Manager will be responsible for all the site facilities and services with a strong focus on technical skills and aptitude (hard services).

Requirements will include:
Grade 12
A relevant Facility Management and / or a technical qualification
Minimum 5 to 8 years related facility management experience is essential (within a Warehouse / FMCG or Manufacturing concern environment would be preferred)
Good technical skills and knowledge - mechanical and electrical knowledge will be preferred
Experienced in UPS, Generators, HVAC, Electrical and Mechanical equipment

Responsibilities:
To be the first line of contact for site security system and building infrastructure backup system such as generator, UPS, Fire Suppression and OHS systems
To be the first line of contact with the land lord and/or any representative
To oversee maintenance, improvement and long-term planning development, including major building renovations and rehabilitation projects
Will be required to prepare information for review and discussion regarding suitable vendors
To lead and manage facility projects to ensure best utilization of space, resources and safety for all employees
Coordinating office improvements including day-to-day facility operations and critical systems such as OHS, electrical, lighting, plumbing, fire, safety and conference room equipment
Performs routine maintenance and repair tasks such as painting walls, replacing light bulbs, installing A/V equipment, etc.
Oversee the administration of contactor work like janitorial work, building contractors, landscaping, gardening, etc.
Budgeting - track and executes expense budgets regarding facilities
Ensure legal compliance related to facilities including OHSA, ISO and city ordinances
Reconcile and track third-party invoices and expenses
Maintain records and vendor documents, such as contracts, service records and warranty information
Supervising sub-contracted staff
Safety inspections to ensure construction and site safety
Building and grounds maintenance
Manage cleaning suppliers and contracts
Catering and vending management
Health and Safety
Utilities and communication infrastructure
