I am a seasoned journalist, writer, copy editor and proofreader. My years of experience working on national and trade newspapers and magazines have included writing, editing, proofing and commissioning features, news and advertorial content in fields as diverse as leisure, travel, culture, business, personalities and column writing. I am as accustomed to the disciplines and styles of production in a busy newsroom as working independently for various freelance clients. I have edited several non-fiction books, while excerpts from my columns have been published in the Penguin Dictionary of South African Quotations as well as other publications. At present I am freelancing from home.
