I have a total of 14 years’ worth of work experience, in Retail and IT environment. In the Retail industry, I was exposed to: Customer service, difficult clients, store budgets, stock takes and coordination of events i.e. Sidewalk sales. In the IT space, a normal day included operational management, interaction with high-level clients and coordinating last-minute interviews with well know South African radio stations and arranging International trips to China, amongst, other things. Customer service is the heart of all organisation and I believe in it wholeheartedly. The State Information Technology Agency (SITA) afforded me the honour of being mentored by Dr. Mohapi, who was and is an expert in the field of technology. He taught me to think ahead and to tackle all projects as the owner and to find my own solutions when the need arose. The industry has armed me with tools to manage offices that range from small to medium. Gijima is where I learned the most about dealing with on-boarding of new employees to capturing sales on salesforce, I worked at Gijima as a Business/ Sales administrator before being promoted to Executive Assistant. At Gijima I worked with 10 Sales executives and no one day was the same and I loved every moment of it. Complex diary management, as well as travel management, is what I regularly worked with at SITA and GIJIMA It is my belief that a company must be run as if you own it and with that, you will succeed in the running of all office matters. Being an Executive Assistant exposes one to people from all walks of life and other interesting life education lessons and I enjoy every moment of it.
