• Area of academic specialisation: Mercantile and Administrative Law. • Master of Business Administration (2020) through the Wits Business School where a research project was on: “Comparative Analysis of the Adjudication and Enforcement Powers of the Companies Tribunal in South Africa”. • Currently an LLM student specialising in Insurance Law and Governance with the University of Pretoria. • An Admitted Attorney (1999) with Master degree in Law specialising in Mercantile Law. • Has twenty-two (23) years of working experience in the legal fraternity of which fifteen (15) years were spent in the public administration and eight (8) were spent in the private sector. • Twenty (20) years of working experience were spent in the financial services industry working on consumer protection and corporate regulation, governance, attending to enforcement and governance issues, monitoring, evaluation performance of independent regulatory agencies, researching, investigating, analysing and interpreting complex concepts, implementing and evaluating them. • Of the twenty-three (23) years, eleven(12) years were spent at a senior manager level [2005 – 2011= six (6) years in public administration and 2014 to date = six (6) years in public sector]; eight years (8) in middle management in the private sector (Liberty Life), one (1) year trainee Marketing/ Broker Consultant (Liberty Specialised Investment) and two (2) years as legal trainee in law firms. • I am a critical thinker passionate about public service, service delivery, strategy development, implementation and evaluation to determine public service effectiveness and improve on it, effective coaching, mentoring, leadership quest, marketing, collaborating corporate services, internet of things and big data. • I resonate with learning, critical thinking, stakeholder engagements, strategic thinking and analytical problem solving. • Personality type – ISJT and a Challenger in terms of the Enneagram system. • Personal value: I love the Lord my God with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my mind and believe in doing unto others as I would like them to do unto me.
