THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE ARE ESSENTIAL:
• Grade 12
• 5 years mining experience in cost controlling
• Computer literate
• Safety knowledge
• B.com accounting or relevant qualifications
ALTHOUGH NOT LIMITED TO, THE INCUMBENT’S MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
The duties for the position are as follows:
• Cashbook and treasury recording function
• Calculation and invoicing of all sales of the company
• Maintenance of fixed asset register
• Performance of balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly calculation of tax liability including deferred taxation
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Assist with monthly financial statements
• Preparation of general journal
• Add hoc financial accounting tasks
