Our Client is looking for an Accountant to do the entire Accounting Bookkeeping Function as well as the payroll function for up to 45 staff.

Salary Highly Negotiable +provident fund Monday to Friday work PERMANENT  

Min Requirement

Matric
Relevant Bookkeeper Accounting Qualification or Relevant Experience
Accounting Bookkeeping up to Balance Sheet PASTEL
Full Payroll function Pastel Payroll 30 staff Casuals included weekly and monthly wages
Experience with PASTEL PARTNER V 14

Job Requirements

Accounting function to Balance Sheet
Supervise the Debtors and creditors Clerks and processes
Bank Reconciliation – processing of cash book, forex payments / receipts and credit cards recons
Ownership of general ledgers and day to day transactional processing
Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
Vat processing and returns
Update the Fixed Asset Register
Electronic Banking – processing of payments and new batches
Workmanship compensation
SARS EFiling and Statutory Return PAYE, UIF and SDL Returns EMP 201’s, IRP 5 & 501’s
Full payroll function – PASTEL PAYROLL 30 staff some casual the rest permanent
Payroll Journals
BEE Administrator when needed
