My client is based in the North of JHB and urgently requires an Accountant for a contract role.

• Preparation and processing of monthly
accrual journals including the supporting
documents and reports
• Bookkeeping
• Balance sheet recons
• Preparation and presentation of monthly
management accounts
• Preparation of monthly group financial and
channel income statement report
• Vat submissions for 3 companies
• EMP201 submissions (payroll not included)

• Liaison with auditors for AFS
• Dealing with financial queries from staff and
retail
• Preparation of monthly dashboard and
adhoc reports
• Cash management and forecasts
• Oversight into creditors recons and
payments
• Oversight on billing, creditors, debtors
• Budgets and variance reporting
• Management of 4 finance staff members
• Management of rebates, rejections and
commissions
• Revenue assurance
• Stock recons and write offs

Minimum requirements:
• Matric and Tertiary qualification
advantageous
• 2-3 years related experience
• Fully computer literate
• Pastel Evolution experience
