A well-known company in Paarden Island in the Retail environment is looking for an Accountant Clerk.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have a Grade 12 (with accounting or maths as subjects)
Certificate or Diploma in the Financial field will be to you advantage
Minimum of 1 – 2 years’ experience in the accounting field will be to your advantage
Computer Literacy (Microsoft Packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Pastel Partner 1.1, Pastel Express 1.1)

Responsibilities:

Monthly statements
Cash book processing
Bank reconciliation
Cash up procedures
Petty cash entries

Required Competencies:

Must be detail orientated
Deadline driven
Must have strong methodical and analytical skills
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Work well under pressure
