A private hospital on the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal has a vacancy for an Admin Manager

Main Purpose of the Job:
• To manage the Hospital's administrative function which includes Case Management, Debtors, Admissions and Creditors
• To ensure all policies are complied with
• To ensure all related administrative matters are appropriately dealt with according to internal policies timeously and accurately

• Grade 12 Certificate
• B Com Financial degree or Diploma
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory position
• Hospital experience will be advantageous

Duties and responsibilities:
Administrative management involves the following duties and responsibilities but is not limited to:
• Rostering of admission staff;
• Liaise with Doctors on admission requirements;
• Implement best practice for admitting patients and ensure policies are adhered to
• Ensure patient accounts are submitted to the medical aids/WCA timeously;
• Ensure medical aid queries are resolved timeously;
• Oversee procure to pay function ;
• Oversee placing of orders process;
• Oversee that sundry debtors (staff pharmacy accounts, Dr Accounts , rentals) are captured into pastel and follow up on overdue account;
• Oversee Pharmacy creditor reconciliation process and ensure it is ready for payment timeously
• Reconcile balance sheet control accounts on a monthly basis;
• Load up payments into the bank
• Run the month end on the Hospital Information system;
• Prepare monthly revenue journal l from the Hospital Information system and capture it into Pastel;
• Assist the Hospital Manager in any financial related matters;
• Assist auditors on an annual basis;

Salary is negotiable and benefits include medical aid and provident fund.
