MAIN ACTIVITIES:
Identifying/ receiving monthly contributions
Processing monthly reconciliations
Updating member data
Processing claims (withdrawal, retirement, divorce, death, funeral, disability, dread disease)
Resolution of member queries
Preparing investment documents
Apply Section 13A protocols
Processing Section 14 transfers-in
Processing individual transfers-in
Producing management / trustee reports
Assisting with the preparation of benefit statement documents & checking samples
Assisting with the audit preparations.
Loading daily prices and monthly returns
Asset / Liability Matching
Processing investment mandate switches
Fund maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS:
Matric with strong accounting and mathematical abilities; and
BA/ Diploma or equivalent will be an advantage.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
Good verbal and written communication skills in english & afrikaans.
Understanding of accounting principles.
Articulate presentation and professionalism.
Organised and good time management skills.
Client service orientated.
Attention to detail/accuracy.
Positive attitude and open to change.
Proactive – uses initiative (Self-starter - able to self-motivate).
Must be able to work independently and under pressure.
Strong work ethic.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:
Strong knowledge of administration principles; and
A good understanding of the Employee Benefits industry will be beneficial.

TECHNOLOGY:
Practical experience on Microsoft office (outlook, word, excel).

WORKING EXPERIENCE:
Previous administration experience (employee benefits industry will be an advantage).
