VACANCY: AGRICULTURAL OPERATIONS MANAGER

LOCATION: MODIMOLLE

COMMENCEMENT DATE: SOONEST

Our agricultural business is seeking to employ an Agricultural Operations Manager with extensive experience in business-, agriculture operations - and production facilities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 10 years’ experience in Operations Management in the agriculture production or similar industry
• Experience in managing multiple and various departments with vast staff compliment
• Experience in managing various departments e.g. processing, indoor- and/or greenhouse-, irrigation-, building and other maintenance-, admin-, equipment-, etc.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Report directly to the Directors and provide constant updates as to the business operations
• Operations - Responsible for overseeing, managing, controlling and supervising the agricultural operations activities and employees
• Management - To provide leadership and direction to HOD’s and other staff, including performance management, assessments, interviewing, appointments etc.
• Provide manage various departments e.g. processing, indoor- and/or greenhouse-, irrigation-, building and other maintenance-, admin-, equipment-, etc.
• Finance – Develop, manage and implement budgets, expenses prepare reports for senior management and ensure the various departments complies with company requirements
• Support the achievement of the business strategy; objectives and values by reviewing the Operations Plan; aligning processes; workflow and solutions
