Our client based in Johannesburg is seeking an Architectural Sales Consultant. The successful candidate must have a positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints.

Customer base: Shopfitters / Fabricators / Architects / Designers

Responsibilities:
Achieving sales targets
Contact new customers as well as existing customer base.
Customer focus is shopfitters, architects and fabricators.
Specify products with architects and designers
Work according to an area planner to visit customers strategically.
Accurate Product knowledge.
Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services).
Stay up to date with new products and services.
Monthly sales reporting and forward planning.
Monthly opposition feedback.
Weekly stock forecasting.
Inform customers about special offers.

Requirements:
Grade 12
5 years’ experience in sales
Basic building and construction understanding
Previous experience in the specification trade with solid customer relationships will be an advantageous
Attention to detail
Basic accounting skills
Fast learner
Flexibility
Understanding the sales process
Self-starter
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
