Looking for an Assistant Manager to help lead a team at an inbound tour company.

Experience required:
Minimum of 5 years inbound experience at a senior level in the tourism industry with supervisory experience
Extensive knowledge of Tourplan
In-depth Geographical, Logistical and Product Knowledge of South, Southern and East Africa
Previous management and/or supervisory experience
Good understanding of terms and conditions, product knowledge, general knowledge, third party
E-commerce
Social Media Platforms
Understanding of travel industry channels
Excellent computer skills
Sales process and methodologies

Duties include:
Be on call for any major emergencies
Assist with daily reports
Supervising a team of travel consultants
Mentor staff and lead by example
Empowerment, training, mentoring, motivating and performance conversations in conjunction with Manager
Interviewing and hiring new staff
Promote teamwork
Manage team leave schedules and working hour rosters in conjunction with manager
Dealing with complaints
Monthly team meeting
Attend all training sessions
Financial management
Month end processes and procedures for the team
