Audit Manager with CA(SA) qualification required for an Auditing Firm, based in Cape Town City Bowl.

Minimum requirements:
• CA(SA) qualification required
• Industry experience in manufacturing, retail, real estate, construction, fishing and not-for profit preferred
• Caseware and Audit International skills required
• Post Article experience is NOT a requirement
• SAICA Assessor highly advantageous
• Workpool or similar task management system advantageous

Responsibilities:
• Quality control of Audit and Independent Review assignments
• Advisory service to clients
• Financial management of assignment/projects
• Liaise with prospective clients
• Management and monitoring of assignment and staff
• Client and general administration
• Review assurance engagements – planning, identifying risk areas and finalisation
• Monitor and control progress
• Quality control and review Financial Statements
• Assist with preparation of reporting
• Proactively assist in management of partner’s portfolio of clients
• Monitor costs
• Coordinate travel dates and arrangements
• Business development activities
• Solve complex technical challenges
• Keep abreast of latest accounting framework changes, tax amendments and legislation
• Contribute to professional development of junior staff
• Assist with Taxation related services
• Client relationship building and maintenance
