Be responsible for Plant/Distribution/Store bakery operation, to include the production of quality baked goods according to stringent deadlines, based on a precise knowledge of latest baking technology and careful control of available resources.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule and supervise bakery production, shipping and cleaning activities to highest safety and sanitation standards.
Supervise, evaluate, train and schedule work of bakery staff.
Order and arrange for correct ingredients, supplies and equipment as per designated system.
Be responsible for consolidation of product orders from users. (ARCH System)
Assure the proper use and care by staff of a large variety of production equipment.
Develop, maintain and update recipe files through computerized processes or a systematic process.
Be responsible for inventorying of stock, stock takes and correct usage of stock.
Assist in developing and implementing merchandising plans for operations, as required.
Assist bakers with production of new products or when schedule falls behind.
Ensure high standard of customer service is maintained
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Work hours between 5am –7pm (shift work) (Hours to be determined)
Reporting to Operations Manager and Director

Minimum Requirements:
Matric with some technical training and minimum5to 10years of related experience in quantity baking of a variety of products, at least 3of which should be in a supervisory capacity.
Specialized technical knowledge of baking and computer skills.
Supervisory ability.
