Our client is seeking to employ a newly qualified graduate with little or no experience. (First prize would be plus minus 2 years’ experience.) This is a great opportunity for someone who has recently qualified that need to get into the job market and need to start gaining experience. The company is a solid, corporate concern based Bellville. The position is in a warehouse so it is super important that you OK to kick-start your career in the operational side of Supply chain.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include managing a small team of staff in the warehouse. The client appreciates the fact that you might have little to no experience in a warehouse, but you will only be considered if you have a BCom degree. (No national diplomas or partially completed qualifications.)
• Supporting the division in all administrative functions linked to order processing and buy plans
• Auditing availability, selection and pricing of market best sellers and new releases on the site
• Supporting on merchandising checks: Checking customer reviews, links and newsletters
• Managing customer queries and escalating as necessary

Desired Experience & Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree (Business Science or Commerce degree preferable)
• Ideally 2 - 3 years’ experience in a Logistics or Supply chain environment
• Competency in MS Office packages, particularly excel
• Staff management experience would be advantageous.
