Qualification: N4/Diploma in mechanical Engineering with minimum 5 years sales experience
and industry knowledge

1. New leads/ Accounts • Develop clientele within Marines, Sugar industry, petro chemical and
other new markets to client and have portfolio of evidence.
• Liaison with your internal sales person to make a follow up call to the potential customers that you visited.
2. Maintenance of existing customers
• Increase of sales baskets of all products.
• Make a follow up visit to at least 3 potential new customers
• Quantify the quotes made vs the closed deals
• Sales Target • Strife towards achieving your monthly sales target and provide analysis of results be they positive or negative. A minimum margin target of 20-30% across the range shall be expected
4.Product Sales analysis and planning
• On a monthly basis analyse your quarterly product sales performance and introduce the new sales
measures to correct and increase product sales by customer.
5.Trips/customer visits vs Sales Analysis
• Record and analyse the visits to both existing and new leads vs the sales achieved
6.Relations building • Build external relationships that could add value to the business.
7.Training and Development • Upgrade your sales skill to enhance business performance
8. Market intelligence • Weekly reporting on competitor activities to enhance own planning
