Job Description:

Preparing and posting general ledger reconciliations
Assisting in preparation of monthly management reporting
Assisting in the reviewing job costing, stock adjustments and variance analysis
Assisting in the allocation of costs and expenses to separate entities
Preparation of information for and execution of monthly reconciliations
Capturing of and managing of monthly Sales commissions schedule by Salesperson
Provision of backup support for other accounting and admin functions as required
Provide general support and assistance to the Head of Finance, Accountant and finance team on any other financial administration and related deliverables,
Resolution of finance related queries
Raising customer Invoices in Xero
Loading Stock codes in Xero
Bookkeeping up to TB
Monthly updating and checking accuracy on various excel sheets
Assisting with various Admin related work
Growing company so candidate must be flexible and willing to help outside the primary bookkeeping role

Qualifications:

Computer literate (Excel – Advance Vlookup,pivot tables etc, Word, Outlook)
Accounting Packages (Sage Evolution) and Xero will be advantageous
Organised with Can do attitude, eager to learn and a go getter.
Resilient under pressure and deadline driven
Displaying a very keen eye for detail along with a sound understanding of accounting processes and procedures.
Working experience (2-5 years) in Finance and Accounting related fields
Manufacturing exposure necessary; Agricultural/service industry exposure advantageous.
Solid verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
