RS Recruitment Services s assisting a leading organisation in the FMCG RETAIL industry to recruit a
Branch Manager – Hardware to be based in Zululand.

OUR CLIENT HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY DOING BUSINESS IN THE ZULULAND AREA FOR OVER THREE GENERATIONS AND HAS GROWN INTO AN ORGANISATION THAT NOW EMPLOYS MORE THAN 1 000 PEOPLE.

Applicants should be/have the following:
Matric certificate
Related qualification – an advantage
At least 2-3 years FMCG experience at management level
Must be an experienced “trader” and be strategically focused
Must have a valid driver’s licence
Preferable be customer service orientated, team player, self-disciplined, reliable and honest
Reputable experience in retailing (non-negotiable)
Product knowledge in hardware - an advantage
Must be proficient in English and preferably in Zulu
Must be computer literate and systems driven
Must have experience in building a team, delegate and hold people accountable for their responsibilities.
Good interpersonal skills, experience with unions and disciplinary matters, experience with unions – an advantage
Will have to relocate and live in Zululand

Key Performance areas – but not limited to:
Financial – Run a profitable store
Customer service that assists customers in all ways possible
Management and leadership of staff
Effective management of stock, housekeeping to Group standards
Fleet management, Store security
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and the achievement thereof.
Focus on building a strong team, delegate and hold people accountable for their responsibilities.
Oversee disciplinary matters and interactions with unions.
Must drive revenue and minimise expenses.
Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.

Remuneration:
Basic Salary R 20 000 to R25 000 - Subject to skills, qualifications and experience.
Package includes use of company vehicle, laptop, cell phone, med aid, provident fund
An incentive scheme, details of which will be discussed at 2nd interview stage
