Broker Consultant/ Business Development Manager with relevant business development experience in the Personal and Commercial Insurance Industry, required to grow this Insurer’s footprint in the Coastal Regions, by identifying and developing new partners and manage and execute short term insurance business opportunities. Positions available for Cape Town, Durban and Eastern Cape.

Minimum requirements:
• Grade 12 essential
• NQF5 in Short Term Insurance (Higher Certificate) preferred
• Marketing qualification and experience preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ insurance sales experience essential
• 1 year experience as a Broker Consultant/Business Development Manager preferred
• Excellent knowledge of Personal Lines and Commercial Insurance essential

Responsibilities:
• Report to Channel Manager (Financial Planning channel)
• Execute short term insurance growth and enablement strategy
• Optimise existing relationship and identifying and developing new business opportunities
• New business – Personal Lines and Commercial Insurance
• Relationship management
• Practice management – establish growth strategy with planners and franchises, management of lead indicators
