RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking a BUILDING / FACILITY MANAGER (PIETERMARITZBURG) for a well-established concern in the Pietermaritzburg area.

PERSON SHOULD PREFERABLY BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY!

JOB DESCRIPTION
Grade 12.
Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
Relevant qualification/s an added advantage but not essential.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
Keep and maintain an Incident Book.
Compile, maintain and update emergency contact details for all the major and criticalservice providers of the building.
Securely keep duplicate and master keys.
Securely keep Operations and Maintenance manuals for the building.
Keep key codes secure for replacement keys.
Update and maintain tenancy lists and contact details for the building.
Ensure updated information regarding tenants is shared with webpage host.
Access by tenants, contractors and outside service providers to Ducts (electrical and water distribution) need to be supervised and accompanied by the Manager.
Dealing new tenants / dealing with tenants vacating the premises.
In charge of equipment.
Emergency callouts and actions.
Administration (procurement for repairs and maintenance).
