Building Manager Bantry Bay Cape Town

Well established residential complex in Bantry Bay Cape Town is looking for a Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the complex. Must have previous experience as a Residential Building Manager. Reports to Trustees, but interacts with owners, tenants, contractors, cleaning, garden & maintenance staff.

Hours: Monday to Friday from 7am to 4 pm

Minimum Requirements:
• 5+ years’ experience as Residential Building Manager Facility Manager
• Qualification needed Diploma or Degree – Degree and added advantage
• Experience dealing with building maintenance issues and ability to assess maintenance problems, find solutions and evaluate contractors’ proposals. A construction background may be an advantage.
• Ability to write reports regarding maintenance issues and compile monthly update reports.
• Staff management
• Basic computer skills including email, Excel & Word.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with people at different levels including owners, contractors, staff, Trustees
