Business Analytics Developer
Sandton, Johannesburg
R20k – R40k (+12.5% incentive paid every six months)

• Implement process analytics and development standards
• Execution of process analytics tools
• Develop tools to improve processes
• Development, design and architecture of applications to assist business with automation until long term system solutions are in place
• Database design
• Analysis and documentation of process analytics requirements
• Testing and QA of process analytics tools in place to ensure they are relevant and valid
• Develop and execute process analytics tools - examples below as well as any new requirements:
o Staff work output
o Staff performance measurement tools
o Incentive allocation
• Develop quick applications to assist business in automating activities in manual processes
• Develop tools to measure process efficiencies
• Responsible for efficient business process monitoring
• Design and implement Process analytics standards, tools, techniques
• Database design for new developments in line with architecture standards
• Manage process support database

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills

• Relevant bachelor's degree
• Business analyst or Process analyst qualification would be beneficial
• Excel (including Macros)
• SQL
• Access
• VBA
Experience in the financial services sector or similar will be an advantage.
• Reporting services
• Microsoft Office
• 2-6 years’ experience in this discipline. In-depth experience in resource and process analysis
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• In-depth understanding of business processes and process improvement methodologies
• Understanding of the organisation of a company
• Data analysis
• Management reporting
• Understanding of escalation management
• A solid understanding of business process modeling and process analytics
• Strong statistical, numerical and mathematical skills
• A solid understanding of the Individual life insurance business domain
• Data modeling and database design background
• Results orientated with good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
