Business Development Executive Stellenbosch Our client, a well-established company is looking for a Business Development Executive with 10+ years’ experience from the Financial / Banking industry. Must have previous Business Development Executive experience. Remuneration: Highly Negotiable CTC + incentives. Key Requirements: • Tertiary qualification. • As a Business Development Executive, you need to have 10+ years’ experience • Developing businesses and business initiatives to scale. • Project development lifecycle. • Experience in Banking / Financial services, the payments industry (regulation, structures, processes, systems, etc.). • Experience in the retail industry sector, around value added services. • Experience in marketing strategies, planning and execution. • Experience in managing teams and businesses to achieve scale. • Experience in managing the operations of a business unit. • Good understanding of the project and product development lifecycle. Responsibilities Include as a Business Development Executive: • Strategy and planning. • Projects prioritisation management. • Monitoring and improving overall business performance. • Sales forecasting/planning. • Collaborate effectively at all levels around decision making, operations, solution enhancements, execution, etc. • Work closely with resources under management to create an optimal working environment and culture that produces results. • Collaborate effectively with all external key stakeholders. • Assume responsibility for all the marketing and branding initiatives. • Sales and relationship management • Assume overall responsibilities for the CRM activities in South Africa and the rest of Africa. • Oversight of the onboarding of new billers. This involves working with Operations, the CRMs and other units in terms of agreeing fees, contracts, IT integration, etc. • Key point of contact for SME segment strategic partners. • Sales and relationship management - Payment networks. • Overall responsibility for the relationship management of all payment networks. • Identify, prioritise and manage the implementation of new payment networks that will add value to the company and its clients. • Grow the retailer payments business to meet expected volume targets across all regions. • Key Relationship Manager for the digital, bank and MNO payment networks • Assume ownership of the performance of all the company's products and solutions. • Latest market insights. • Keep up to date with market trends and competitor activity. • Keep up to date with relevant industry regulation.
