Business Development Manager – Bureau De Change

Our company is looking to employ a Business Development Manager (BDM) who will be responsible for multiple money making channel development by creating new sales opportunities, retain existing business and clients, establish opportunies for growth via possible partners, agents, online etc. The BDM will be responsible for various money making departments and must be highly experienced in the BDC industry.

REQUIREMENTS
• 10 – 20 years business development management experience in BDC and ability to create and increase revenue and economic profit via business plan and company strategy
• Understanding of BDC compliance relating to company licenses and relationship with SARB.
• Have a broad business network and/or database.
• Valid unendorsed driver’s license
• Fluent in English and exceptional high proficiency level in Business English and Business Communication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY
• Responsible for business plan and execution thereof.
• Responsible for developing various money making channels e.g. new business, sales, agents, events, marketing, branch development, digital marketing etc.
• Responsible for campaign plans to generate leads to convert into deals.
• Creating plans for growing market share and communicating channel activities.
• Provides systems and platforms for execution of channel development.
• Identify and create opportunities for partner, agent and other stakeholder collaboration with the aim of growing market shares.
• Responsible for following, tracking, monitoring and reporting of leads, pipelines and deals.
• Responsible for analyzing each channel performance, identify problematic issues, corrective measures and strategies to ensure maximum channel performance.
• Manages SLA negotiations with customers.
• Responsible for overseeing, supervising and monitoring employees via KPI system – effort vs results vs company expenses
• Responsible for setting targets per channel and per employee • Responsible for training staff on new product launches and implementation of product roll out.
• Hands-on management and development of large teams
• Develop and implement budgets, prepare reports for senior management and ensure the department complies with company requirements.
• Perform in-depth financial needs analysis to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities in line with business goals.
• Support the achievement of the business strategy; objectives and values by regularly reviewing the Business Plan; aligning processes; services and solutions
• Responsible for successful selling solutions
• Research methodology to analyses target markets and competitive intelligence
and manage performance
