Looking for a strong Business Development Manager/Engineer to assist in developing the business in Southern Africa for a well-known Engineering Company.
To Implement business strategy and develop GIS business with Governments and / or Institutions to ensure GIS revenue and profitability

Qualification and Experience:

University degree or similar
Minimum 5 years experience in Sales and/or Promotion (Engineering Environment)
Working Finance knowledge
Business and profit minded
English fluent. Any other language an asset
IT Experience
Position involves extensive travel in the Southern Africa Region and will involve sometimes meetings with high level government officials in African countries.

You will be expected to:
• Analyses market opportunities for existing and new services / markets.
• Design and implement business strategy to develop GIS business with Governments and / or Institutions to ensure GIS revenue and profitability
• Coordinates with local Sales Executives, Business Managers or Managing Directors to design and implement strategies enabling the development of new business opportunities
• Leads, coordinates and contributes to the preparation of tender’s documents and submissions
• Conducts contract negotiations and/or supports Product / Sales Manager in contract negotiations
• Support on developing the service / product / business ensuring continuous adaptation to the client needs and market demands
• Prepares and submit periodic reports on sales activities and strategies for the different countries and projects
• Shares best practice and ensure compliance with Compliance and Integrity Code of Practice
