The Business Development Manager is responsible for growing a portfolio of
clients, developing a healthy pipeline of new prospects and driving the
profitable growth of cross border business within the Hospitality and Facilities
segment .It is the Business Development Manager’s responsibility to fully understand the
needs of the client, to recommend the right range of services to the client, to
properly advise the client on product and service benefits and features.

? Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
? Planning and preparing presentations
? Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
? Overseeing the development of marketing literature
? Writing reports
? Providing management with feedback
? Developing growth strategies and plans
? Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
? Increasing client base
? Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value
? Writing business proposals
? Negotiating with stakeholders
? Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
? Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
? Following industry trends
? Drafting and reviewing contracts
? Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
? Ensure client proposals are of a professional standard and in line with
company policies and procedures. If a proposal is non-standard then it
is necessary to seek the approval of the Country President, Director of
Business Development Africa and/or Regional stakeholders prior to
submission to the client. Ensure proposals for indemnified
memberships are approved by Corporate if non-standard.
? Maintain an open and win-win approach to client relationships, self,
department and company through the process of consultative selling.

? Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales with proven attributes towards
acquisition of new business and exemplary levels of client care and
focus in building relationships across all levels of the client
